Adding an artisan touch to your business can enhance the authenticity of your brand. The process of creating a custom stamp is a personal one from the initial drafts, the carve, and the finalized print. Block printed merchandise make a great addition to your business arsenal as there are infinite reprinting possibilities. Once our in house artist creates your stamp, you can sit back and relax after placing an order. Furthermore, any future orders only incur the cost of your printed items. Most businesses prefer to start with their logo as an inspiration in order to uniquely capture their business model. This process is outlined in further detail below.

The Draft
You provide an idea for a custom stamp and our in house artist begins her sketches. Designs are drawn by hand into a block print style format and flipped horizontally.

The Print
Fabric block printing ink is rolled onto a brayer and inked onto the surface of the newly carved stamp. A press is then used to print the ink to the surface of the items.

The Carve
The 'space' is removed by using carving tools and shaping a linoleum or rubber block. Prints normally range anywhere from ~ 2" x 4" to 11" x 8" in size. Any shapes can be created.

The Bind
Fabrics used must be over 50% cotton to ensure a strong bind. After the ink is transferred, the fabrics will hang to dry for 7 days. Items are then washed and tagged with care instructions, then delivered to your door!
